About NSLS

The North Star Lily Society is a non-profit organization. NSLS was organized exclusively for educational and scientific purposes, and especially to promote, encourage, and foster the development and improvement of the genus Lilium. We also promote public interest in lily culture through bulb sales, a speaker’s bureau and an annual lily show. Started in 1967 with a charter roster of about 30 members, NSLS now enjoys a membership in excess of 275 people with a passion for lilies. The qualifications for membership are an interest in the purpose for which this society was formed and a willingness to pay dues which currently are $10 for two years.

We are a regional affiliate of the North American Lily Society, NALS.
